Ghost Recon: Wildlands, launch date and details

The war on drugs comes to consoles, PC in March Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands launches March 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. The latest entry in the Tom Clancy series by Ubisoft led with a new trailer and was followed by a co-operative multiplayer demonstration. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is set in Bolivia, where a Mexican drug cartel has taken over and seized the local coca crop. The United States drops in a special ops team to root out and destroy the gang. In the multiplayer demonstration a team of four human players, communicating with canned expository dialogue, took out a notorious cartel figure known as El Pozolero.

Their target fled and the pursuit moved to a vehicle chase involving dirt bikes, pickup trucks and a helicopter. Ubisoft is promising the largest open-world environment ever built for one of its games. Wildlands was first revealed at last year's E3.
