New gameplay and environments A new Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer hit last night during Nvidia’s CES keynote. The trailer, which you can watch above, shows off new environments and gameplay. The game “puts you in the role of the Pathfinder; an elite soldier, explorer and guide tasked with finding humanity a new home in an uncharted galaxy,” according to the official description on YouTube. Earlier this week, Electronic Arts announced that the game will launch March 21 in North America on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. It will hit the rest of the world on March 23.
Andromeda is the next game in the Mass Effect series, but not a direct sequel to Mass Effect 3, which wrapped up Commander Shepherd’s journey through space. Mass Effect: Andromeda was originally set for a holiday 2016 launch, but publisher Electronic Arts pushed the game back to “early 2017. ”
