Destiny 2’s worldwide reveal happens this Thursday Bungie and Activision continue the slow rollout of unveiling Destiny 2. Today, the companies released a new teaser trailer called “Last Call,” in which Cayde-6 — once again played by actor Nathan Fillion — enjoys a glass of space booze and recounts a memorable battle, presumably a hint at what’s to come in the Destiny sequel. While the teaser doesn’t show any actual gameplay from Destiny 2, it comes with a bit of news: Bungie says it will release a “worldwide reveal trailer” for Destiny 2 on Thursday, March 30 at 10 a. m. PT.

The teaser also appears to show the destruction of Destiny’s The Last City, which is shown in flames in Destiny 2 promotional artwork. Cayde-6 and Zavala are seen getting hit with an explosion in their usual hangout spot in the Tower, and Ikora Rey is shown battling a previously unseen Cabal enemy. It also presents a very different, more humorous tone than the original Destiny had when it was announced. Destiny 2 is coming sometime this fall, with a rumored Sept. 8 release date.

Bungie and Activision officially announced the sequel earlier this week, revealing the game’s official name and logo. Update: It looks like PlayStation 4 owners will once again get timed-exclusive access to content in Destiny 2. The version of the teaser uploaded to the official PlayStation YouTube account notes that the game will get “Timed exclusive content until at least Fall 2018. ” More detail on that exclusive content for Destiny 2 is promised this summer. The original Destiny featured timed-exclusive access to certain weapons, strikes and Crucible maps for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
